Nepal Share Markets & Finance Limited, hereinafter referred to as NSM, was incorporated under the Companies Act, 2063 as a public limited company with Registration No. 25/049/50 on Ashadh 15, 2050 (June 29, 1993). On Baishakk 5, 2063 (April 14, 2006), NSM obtained a license from Nepal Rastra Bank to carry out banking functions. It was registered in the Inland Revenue Department on Jestha 32, 2057 (June 14, 2000), with permanent account number 500058088.
The company’s head office is located at Ramshahpath Putalisadak, Ward No. 28, Kathmandu, Nepal. On Poush 28, 2068 (January 28, 2012), it was declared a problematic financial institution by Nepal Rastra Bank. NSM has been restricted from carrying out banking transactions since the date it was declared a problematic financial institution. From Jesth 11, 2072, all branches of NSM has been closed.
